Audrey, the very well loved pet from the popular television show, Neighbours, has died of cancer. Every year, wonderful pets die from these terrible diseases. Audreys Mum, Christine Powell, has instigated a fund raising initiative to help us find a cure for cancer in pets.

The Australian Animal Cancer Foundation at the Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre The Animal Hospital, houses the only Linear Accelerator in the Southern Hemisphere dedicated to treating companion animals suffering from cancer. Our pets can receive state of the art cancer care and each animal treated helps further our understanding of cancer. Lessons learned help other animals and also people.
Saving our pets lives is one of the best things we can do as humans, because quite simply put if we can save them, we can save ourselves.
